Rechartering
- The 2009 recharter packages were handed out to
the units in attendance. The recharter packages are due not later than
01/15/09. We will have time set aside at the January
Roundtable to turn in the recharter packages. If
you have adult leaders that seem to be missing from your recharter
package it may be because they did not respond to an email requesting
permission to do a background check. National BSA has run
background checks on adult leaders that have filled out an application
in the past 5 years. Leaders prior to that were 'grandfathered'.
This summer the grandfathered adults should have received an email
requesting permission to perform a background check. Adult
leader who did not respond will need to fill out an adult application
in order to recharter. |
